Milan to offer its home kits for sale for the very first time in four years, the club’s president has confirmed.
The deal will see Milan sell their shirts, away kits and kits for the Champions League quarter-final second leg at Juventus on Saturday, according to the Daily Express.
It is the second time the club has sold its home and away kit, with last season’s FA Cup final win against Manchester City, which ended the title drought, making a total of 11 changes.
Milan will also sell its away kits, away home kits and away away home kit kits for all the quarter-finals from the 2014-15 season.
The sale of the kits will start on the evening of January 9 with the final fixture being played on January 17.
“The Milan Stadium is a unique place, it is the birthplace of our club, we will never forget this, and this is the only place in the world where you can experience the atmosphere of a game and have the best possible experience,” Silvio Berlusconi said on Friday.
“The club will sell all its kit, away kit and kits from here to all of the fans of the Italian side, including our famous away supporters, to the new owner, who will be able to choose what he wants.
It is a special moment for our club.
It’s not easy to sell a jersey but I am convinced that this will happen.”
The club is the envy of the world.
The first-class facilities, the amazing history, the fans, the atmosphere, everything is amazing.
The new owner has done a great job and it will be a real honour for him to be the new Milan president.
