The NHL announced Wednesday that the Chicago Blackhawks will receive the most “active” water in the league, as they will have at least 300 active water purifiers installed in each home arena this season.
The Los Angeles Kings will be second in active water use, having at least 200 active water filters installed in their home arena.
The Washington Capitals will have 75 active water filtration systems installed.
The Detroit Red Wings are third in active-water usage with at least 175 active water systems installed in Detroit, according to the report.
The Minnesota Wild are fifth in active use with 150 water systems.
The Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and New York Rangers will have their active water usage at least 150 per game.
The San Jose Sharks, New Orleans Canadiens, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins and Vancouver Canucks will have the most active water at the start of the season, with at most 100 active water sources installed.
